Jan. 6, 1851; when he was a child, his parents came to Madison, where he has been reared and educated; in January 1873 he became connected with the Park Savings Bank as Teller; July 1874, he was appointed Assistant Cashier, served in that capacity until July 1878, when he became Cashier of the same institution, and has held the position ever since.
