Reedsburg Free Press Reedsburg, Wisconsin May 31, 1872 COLVIN--In the town of Westfield, May 27th, Stephen Colvin, aged 65 years. For the last twenty days Mr. Colvin had partaken of no nourishment whatever and for much longer time next to none. The disease was chronic inflammation of the stomach terminating in stricture of the esophagus, but the immediate cause of death was the inability to receive nutrition-starvation.
