BARABOO NEWS REPUBLIC Saturday, 18 April 1987, page 5 ELAINE KARG CARROLLTON, Texas - Mrs. Elaine (Roger) Karg, age 57, of North Freedom, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 15, 1987 at Trinity Medical Hospital, Carrollton, Texas. Mrs. Karg was born in Castle Prairie, Town of Sumpter, on Feb. 23, 1930. She was married to Roger Karg on June 11, 1949 in Sauk City. She graduated from a Sauk City high school and was employed by the Agricultural Administration Act office, Baraboo, for several years. She was an active member of the Pleasant Valley Homemakers Club and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Roger of North Freedom; three daughters, Fern (Mrs. Thomas) Nall of Cuba City, Ruth Karg of Baraboo and Rita Karg of Carrollton; two sons, Verne Karg of Reedsburg and Russell Karg of Spokane, Wash.; three granddaughters, Melissa, Tonya and Diana; her father, John Genz of Sauk County; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie, one daughter, Betty; and one brother, Clifford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Emil Toepel officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, North Freedom.
