Baraboo News Republic Wednesday, 8 October, 1890, page 2 DIED Mrs. John Pinneo died at her home in this city September 30th, 1890. She was born July 28th, 1851, at Davenport, Iowa. Was married to John Pinneo Nov. 19th, 1868. Came with her family to Baraboo about 17 years ago. Mrs. Pinneo had been in very poor health for about eleven years. Sometime last winter she had an attack of La Grippe, from which she never wholly recovered. Her last sickness was of about two month's duration, during which time she suffered much from extreme weakness, yet she was hopeful and patient, often expressing a desire to get will for the sake of her family and friends. But as the hour of her departure drew near she said the future is all bright. She died in great peace Tuesday morning of last week, in the 39th year of her age. She was a good wife, a kind mother, a faithful christian, having been a member of the M.E. church from early life. Her attachment to her family and their devotion to her in her last sickness was most affecting. Her oldest daughter, Lena, although in very poor health, was constant in her loving care and attention at the sick bed. Her husband, three daughters and the aged mother mourn her departure while they retain the precious legacy of a Godly life, a noble, self-sacrificing woman. She has entered into those joys which are the reward of all those who suffer with the Master here. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Thursday morning by Rev. T.J. Snodgrass.
