Baraboo Paper June 1951 Emma Kingsley Rodwell Emma Frances Kingsley, third child of the family of Sylvester Kingsley and Emeline Clement Kingsley, was born in the town of Summit, Juneau County, Sept. 7, 1872. October 28, 1888, she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Rodwell and came to the farm where she lived until her death at St. Savior's hospital , Portage, May 31, 1951, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 24 days. Five brothers, one sister, her husband, son Roy and stepson George preceeded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter Jennie, Mrs. Henry Dowd of Lake Delton, a son Elvin of Boise, Ida., two brothers, Robert of Lake Delton, and Sumner of LaValle, eight grandchildren, fourteen great - grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for over 30 years and was active in the W.S.C.S. until her health failed. Funeral Services were held June 2nd at 2 p.m. at the Methodaist Church in Lake Delton.
